The gloves are as expected. I was worried that may not fit, but they are very good fit, slightly loose. My hand is just over 7 inches from wrist to middle finger and 7 1/2 inches around palm. They could be slightly longer, but they will do fine as is. The gloves are thickish single layer fabric, while the ribbed wrist area is stretchy ribbing, double layer. I have not tried them in garden but since they are same as others I've used in the past, expect decent wear.

These are nice little gloves, good value, soft & easy to pop on for outdoor work. Of course they’re not waterproof & probably not hugely robust, but after trying many different kinds I prefer these for most garden jobs. I haven’t washed them yet but will edit this if they wash badly.

These gardening gloves are exactly what I was looking for-- not too expensive, easily replaceable, sturdy and reliable enough for heavy duty weeding and general garden chores, not too cumbersome and not noticeable as I was going about doing what needed to be done in my gardens. Also, I was worried about the size, that they would be too small. They were big enough and what I would consider to be something between a ladies' medium and large. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.
