I needed to prune my rose bushes. Likewise, I had to cut back the little trees that were growing from the runner roots of their parent trees. And those happen to be thorny too. These gloves proved to be impenetrable to these thorns. The gloves are elastic in general, so they're easy on and easy off. Yet they're padded where it counts. They are durable too. Truth be told, I could have used taller gloves with gauntlets, because I have scratches all over my arms up to the elbows. But those just aren't my style. Too much hassle to put on remove. I'm happy with these gloves.

arrived quickly and every bit as described but better. the palm leather is actually thicker than expected and the nylon back is thick and stretchy giving lots of room in a glove for my giant hands, I wear a 19 1/2 ring. Size is everything and finally I have found a product that not only fits but is extremely comfortable as the liner on the palm feels like pigskin. highly recommend this pair of gloves to anybody needing a good solid work glove, a glove they can workout in the gym with or with just very large hands.
